u3a day trips are arranged as and when they become available. For up to date details see the u3a notice board at the Community Centre or the u3a website. Any trip suggestions will be included where possible. Excursions must be booked and paid for in advance.

Note:  Excursions are unfortunately not suitable for those with limited mobility as you will need to be able to navigate the coach steps unaided, and we may be walking on uneven surfaces and staircases. If in doubt please contact the group leader before booking.

General advice:

BOOKINGS
A waiting list will be held for popular visits. Please let the trip leader know as soon as possible if you wish to be removed from the list. Contact and membership numbers are required when booking. Departure time and organiser’s contact details will be given when booking. Travel insurance is strongly recommended for overnight stays.

LIABILITY
Members participate at their own risk and must be responsible for their own ability to attend a visit. Alton u3a does not accept liability for any personal accident or loss or damage to possessions. Members must also ensure ICE details are accessible, on the reverse of their membership cards or in their purses/wallets for the whole visit.
Dates, timings, prices & locations are liable to change, along with bookings. All information and updates will be notified on the website and emailed to those signed up for the trip.
The coach company we use has done a risk assessment and the seating arrangements will comply with government guidelines.
