Six or seven concerts will be arranged each u3a year at the Anvil, Basingstoke. Further details of the Anvil programmes can be found on their website: www.anvilarts.org.uk and will appear in due course on posters in the Community Centre and on the Alton u3a website.

Tickets are currently £44, which includes the concert ticket and coach travel from Alton and return. The coach leaves from outside Alton library at 6.30pm and goes direct to the Anvil. For those who don’t like stairs, there is a lift from street level into the Foyer! Our seats, which are easily accessible, are situated in the Choir area directly behind the Orchestra.

BOOKINGS

A waiting list will be held for popular visits. Please let the trip leader know as soon as possible if you wish to be removed from the list.

Contact and membership numbers are required when booking. If not already a member or associate member, you can attend concerts by becoming a Paid Outing Member for £10 pa (£7 for part-year)

All concerts have to be paid for in advance, so your payments must be made no later than ONE MONTH before the concert date.

Concert fees are payable in one of the following ways (bank transfer is the preferred method):
Bank transfer to: “U3A Alton”, Sort Code 30-90-15, Account no 00361152. Please add your name and concert date as the reference.
Payment by cheque: payable to “U3A Alton” and sent to Jim Bartholomew, 9 Princess Drive, Alton GU34 1QS

If not already a member or associate member, you can attend concerts by becoming a Paid Outing Member (POM) for £10 p.a.(£7 for part-year).

Departure time and organiser's contact details will be given when booking.

LIABILITY

Members participate at their own risk and must be responsible for their own ability to attend a visit. Alton u3a does not accept liability for any personal accident or loss or damage to possessions.

Members must also ensure ICE details are accessible, on the reverse of their membership cards or in their purses/wallets for the whole visit.

Dates, timings, prices & locations are liable to change, along with bookings. All information and updates will be notified on the website and emailed to those signed up for the trip.

The coach company we use has done a risk assessment and the seating arrangementswill comply with government guidelines.
