Alton u3a is now online!
We are pleased to announce that online joining and renewal is now available.
This year, we have implemented online joining and membership renewals. Our existing manual, paper-based system is really no longer fit for purpose and was becoming a point of frustration for many of our members; whilst it is still available, online joining and renewals is now our preferred method of membership.
Joining and renewing online is quite easy, but it is important to read the How-to guide first.
For those of you who would prefer to continue with completing and posting paper forms, these will still be available as follows:

We request all members to:
- Abide by the Principles of the u3a movement.
- Abide by the terms and conditions of the Alton u3a constitution.
- Comply with and support the decisions of the elected Alton u3a committee.
- Advise the Membership Secretary - Colin Aiken of any change in your personal details.
- Abide by the Member Code of Conduct
- Be aware that unexplained continued absence from group sessions may, at the group leader's discretion, lead to the member being dropped from the group and/or assigned to its waiting list.

u3a matters
The u3a matters magazine is published five times a year (September, November, February, April and June) and posted directly to members’ homes. It is packed with stories about members and u3a activities, plus celebrity interviews and features on technology, recipes, travel, competitions, and a lively and popular letters section. You can opt to receive the magazine when you join.
