Alton u3a has been offered the opportunity for a 6-week training and playing course on indoor bowling at Chawton Park Indoor Bowling Club. An easy and fun way to socialise and keep fit. The course is for men and women. (6 week course April and May 2026. £35 payable in advance to the club)

You will be pleased to know that it was a very successful course. I really enjoyed arranging and organising the course with Rosemary,  the other lead coach. From the feedback forms we received at the end of the course, I think everyone enjoyed the course. It was good to see them making good progress, I feel that we have a good team of coaches.

A good number of the participants have signed up as members of the Chawton Indoor Bowls Club. Hopefully they will continue to enjoy the game in the future. Hopefully we will be able to run another Bowls Course next year, all being well.
